In JOURNEY FOR JUSTICE, Jessica discovers an old chest in her cellar that changes her life forever. Fascinated with the family treasures found inside, Jessica slips on the heirloom ring and necklace accidently triggering a gypsy’s century-old magic. The spell awakens Stuart’s ghost, a soldier murdered over 150 years ago as he returned home from the Civil War.

Stuart’s home is now owned by his future relatives, the Warner family. Not realizing that he’s in a new century, Stuart is confused and seeks help from the only person he recognizes, his sister Katie, or the woman he believes to be his sister. Jessica could pass as her ancestral grandmother’s twin. Believing Jessica is Katie, Stuart makes his appearance.

Startled by the ghost in her cellar, Jessica stumbles into a time-traveling portal and is transported to 1865. Stranded in another century, Jessica has no choice but to pose as Katie, a nurse who has not yet returned from the war. But Katie will soon return, jeopardizing Jessica’s impersonation and causing yet another hurdle in her quest to return home.

As a woman of the future locked in 1865, Jessica has more problems than just a murder to solve. She must navigate her way through an era that is without modern conveniences and with maddening feminine restrictions.
